The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 6 in Bolton and Coventry. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, October 12 and be completed on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The project DOT01710531CN F consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.59 -mile eastbound segment of Route 6 in Bolton and Coventry from just east of the Notch Road to the Andover Town Line. This project is scheduled to begin milling and resurfacing by Tilcon Connecticut on Monday, October 12 to Tuesday, October 20, 2026. This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 6 in Bolton and Coventry eastbound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 07:00 p.m. to 05:00 a.m., Sunday to Thursday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
