Transit alert: 5-Lower Muscatine inbound route detoured temporarily off Bowery St.

The inbound 5-Lower Muscatine route will detour starting at noon Feb. 16, 2026, on Bowery Street. The detour is due to running water from a service leak.

The inbound 5-Lower Muscatine route will detour Dodge Street to Burlington Street to Gilbert Street to Court Street.

Stop 8286, located on Bowery Street at Van Buren Street, will not be serviced during the detour. Passengers who use this stop are encouraged to use the inbound 5-Lower Muscatine stop on Dodge Street at Bowery Street (stop 7105) or the inbound 1-South Iowa City stop on Gilbert Street at Bowery Street (stop 7008).
