Minor repair work on La Paz Bridge Friday will require lane closures

Minor repair work by a City contractor on the La Paz Bridge Friday, April 4 will require some lane closures.

The work will take place on La Paz Road. Most locations will require only one lane of traffic to be closed at a time beginning at 7 am, but a few will require two of the three lanes to be closed, according to the City's contractor. Any locations requiring two lanes to be closed will be done during off-peak hours from 9 am to 3 pm.

All work is expected to be finished by 4 pm.

Motorists should expect some delays and consider alternate routes.

In other news, the City's contractor was able to restore the dual left-turn lanes on Chrisanta a day early, which has increased traffic flow.
