Tehachapi Breast Cancer Awareness Hat Sale The City of Tehachapi is excited to announce that our limited-edition Tehachapi Breast Cancer Awareness hats are now available for purchase! Hats can be purchased at City Hall, 115 S. Robinson Street, or at the Tehachapi Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on October 11. Not only are these hats a meaningful way to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but a portion of the proceeds will also benefit cancer patients and support critical research. Residents are also invited to take part in the City of Tehachapi's Butterfly Wall. Visit City Hall and pin a butterfly in honor of a friend or family member who has survived, is currently battling, or who lost their life to breast cancer. The Butterfly Wall will be displayed in the City Hall lobby throughout the month of October. The City of Tehachapi invites the community to attend our inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, October 11, at Railroad Park. The event will feature remarks from healthcare professionals and a local cancer survivor beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by the walk at 9 a.m. A health fair will also be open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon. There is no registration fee to participate, but donations are encouraged. All funds raised will be donated to the AIS Cancer Center and the Tehachapi Cancer Foundation. This event aims to support individuals affected by breast cancer, raise funds for research and support services, and promote awareness and early detection.
