Help Customers Boat Safely with Latest Video Series from Discover Boating and Progressive Insurance®

When boaters understand basic safety practices, they can feel more confident on the water. Confident boaters use their boats more often, invest in upgrades and accessories, and are more likely to stay committed to boating long-term-all fueling industry growth. That's why Discover Boating, powered by NMMA and MRAA, in collaboration with Progressive Insurance®, have launched a new series of educational safety videos designed for new and current boaters.

The third video installment in this series, "How to Create a Float Plan," gives boaters quick, actionable steps for creating a float plan-including vessel description, passenger count, departure and return times, and emergency contact details- helping them boat with greater confidence and peace of mind.

Sharing these videos across your customer touchpoints (websites, social media, email newsletters, and showrooms) is an easy, effective way to:

  • Build Trust by demonstrating your commitment to the customer's success and enjoyment, not just the sale.
  • Foster Loyalty by turning safer, more confident boaters into passionate advocates for both boating and your business.
  • Enhance Marketing by engaging customers with high-quality content without the need to create it from scratch.

The video series is available on Discover Boating's YouTube channel and through the Discover Boating Industry Resource Center, ready to be easily shared and embedded into your own marketing channels. Plus, two new safety videos are launching this May-providing even more valuable content to keep boaters engaged and informed.
