Gordon Public Boat Ramp Reopens After Repairs

The Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries (WFF) Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) has reopened the Gordon Public Boat Ramp on the Chattahoochee River in Houston County. The boat ramp is located just off Boat Landing Road near Gordon, Alabama.

During the closure, Houston County repaired erosion damage to the boat landing area. The parking area was also repaved.

Funding for this project was provided through the Sport Fish Restoration Program, which is supported through excise taxes on the sale of outboard motor fuel and fishing equipment and through the sale of Alabama fishing licenses.
