Viva Chiefs’ Kingdom Wins a Second Mid-America Emmy for Season 2

For the second year in a row, Viva Chiefs' Kingdom, the Kansas City Chiefs' Spanish-language docuseries, has been honored at the Mid-America Emmy Awards. Samba Digital once again contributed to the project through its Spanish-language content & storytelling team.

Two seasons, two Mid-America Emmys

Season 2 of Viva Chiefs' Kingdom won in the [category] category at the Mid-America Emmy Awards ceremony on [date]. One year earlier, Season 1 took home a Mid-America Emmy of its own.

The awards are presented by the Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Winning back-to-back confirms the strength of a format built for the Chiefs' Spanish-speaking fans.

The Kansas City Chiefs' first Spanish-language documentary

Launched in 2024, Viva Chiefs' Kingdom is the franchise's first long-form Spanish-language production. The two-episode first season followed 12 Chiefs fans through the 2023 season, all the way to the Super Bowl LVIII title.
