John Merrill and Dylan Eberle to Speak on PFAS Litigation at DRI Seminar

John Merrill, PE, and Dylan Eberle, PhD, PG, CPG, will present "Technical Tools for PFAS Litigation: Fate and Transport, Forensics, and Treatment" at the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Center for Law and Public Policy 2026 PFAS Seminar.

They will speak on Wednesday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. CT in Chicago, Illinois. Peter Condron from Crowell & Moring, LLP, will moderate the session.

John is a Senior Engineer based in California with experience investigating, remediating, and managing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Clients seek his expertise in site investigation, remediation, environmental due diligence, and applied research to help them navigate the evolving technical and regulatory landscape for PFAS.

Dylan is a Senior Geologist based in Massachusetts with more than 10 years of experience focused on site characterization, innovative remediation technologies, and litigation support. He characterizes and remediates soil and groundwater contaminated with priority pollutants and emerging contaminants, including PFAS and 1,4-dioxane.

The seminar provides a practical overview of the rapidly evolving PFAS legal and regulatory landscape, covering litigation, compliance, insurance, remediation, risk management, and emerging liability issues.
