DALLAS - Families are invited to Dallas ISD's Back-to-School Registration Kickoff from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at Ellis Davis Field House. Parents can receive on-site enrollment assistance for students entering pre-K through 12th grade. Families that register during the event will also receive school supplies, a clear or mesh backpack, and access to additional resources while supplies last. The event is a one-stop shop with everything families need to prepare for a successful start to the new school year.

VISUALS: Dallas ISD begins Additional Days School Year program
Yesterday, Dallas ISD welcomed thousands of students back to school through the district's Additional Days of School Year program. Students across 20 campuses returned to the classroom early, giving them extra instructional time to strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and establish a strong foundation for the year ahead.

District to resume regular hours
Dallas ISD central offices will transition back to regular operating hours beginning Monday, Aug. 3. District offices will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
