Centennial Park closures for mountain biking U.S. Pro Cup
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Beginning Monday, March 17, certain trails of Centennial Park will be closed to the public to allow for final preparations for the 2025 U.S. Pro Cup.
The event will be held Wednesday through Sunday, March 19-23, at Centennial Park in Fayetteville and is free for spectators. This festival-style event is part of the U.S. Cup Series for mountain biking and will feature past and present Olympians, world champions and national champions competing.
The following park trails will be closed through Monday, March 24, to keep them in the best shape for competition and allow for event takedown:
Learners Permit, Pop Rocks, Junk Drawer, Basket Case and portions of the Fayetteville Traverse (west and southwest of the main entrance road) will remain open.
Spectators looking to walk or cycle to the event are encouraged to take the paved trail accessible from S. Mount Millsap Lane off Old Farmington Road or the Fayetteville Traverse trail accessible from S. Dinsmore Trail Road off Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Limited public parking is available at Centennial Park on a first-come, first-served basis.
