DALLAS - Three Dallas ISD boys basketball teams made history on the biggest stage in Texas. David W. Carter, Justin F. Kimball, and James Madison high schools defeated their opponents in the UIL State Basketball Championships to claim state titles in 3A Division I, 4A Division I, and 4A Division II. This is the first time Dallas ISD has had 3 teams win state titles the same year.

Senior student surprised with full-ride scholarship
Sunset High School senior, Yasmin T., has been selected as a UT Impact Scholar, earning a first-dollar, full tuition scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin. Today, representatives from the university surprised Yasmin on campus, with family in attendance, to formally announce the honor. Only 100 students across Texas receive this prestigious award, which recognizes exceptional leadership and academic potential.

District award finalists announced
Dallas ISD is proud to recognize its Teacher and Principal of the Year finalists, selected from among 85 campus applicants across elementary, secondary, and choice/magnet schools. These outstanding educators and leaders were honored at the district's Winners Circle event for their passion, innovation, and impact on students and communities.
