NEW! Online Grain Grading School Open Now Through January 2026

In response to member and industry requests, OABA is offering an additional Grain Grading School training in an online, on-demand format this fall and winter.

Approved by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA), the three-hour course - taught by Eurofins Grain Inspection - provides instruction on grading corn, soybeans and wheat, as well as sampling procedures and proper use of equipment.

This course fulfills the training requirements of the Ohio Commodity Handler Law, which requires individuals performing quality tests to hold a valid Commodity Tester Number. Beginning in 2025, all testers must complete continuing education every five years to renew their certification.

  • Deadline: The online course must be completed by January 31, 2026.
  • Cost: $50 for OABA members | $100 for non-members
