Save money on rides and games now for the 2026 Iowa State Fair! This year, the Iowa State Fair is introducing a simple option, the Advance Thrill Pass. This pass gives Fairgoers an easy way to score big savings on rides and games.

The Advance Thrill Pass includes 50 credits for just $30 and can be used on any ride or game in Thrill Ville-the Fair's main midway-or Thrill Town, the kid-friendly ride area. Even better, the pass is valid any day of the Fair, giving guests the freedom to choose when and how they want to spend their credits.

Thrill-seekers will find plenty to enjoy in the Iowa State Fair Thrill Parks this year. Thrill Ville features over 40 rides and games, while Thrill Town offers over 20 rides and games designed for younger Fairgoers. The average ride costs 5-6 credits, and during the Fair, guests can pile up the savings by also taking advantage of a 1-credit discount on rides and games in Thrill Ville and Thrill Town until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The special advance offer expires August 12, and, due to the deep discount, will not be available for purchase during the Fair.
