Construction of the second cement plant in the village of Kharangon

On June 23, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Rustam Emomali, also laid the foundation stone for the construction of another cement plant in the northern part of the village of Kharangon in the Varzob district.

During the presentation of the plant construction project, it was reported that the Tajik Cement Limited Liability Company, based on the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, has decided to build and commission a new production plant on an area of 16 hectares within 17 months.

The production capacity of the plant under construction will be 1.2 million tons of cement per year.

During the construction work, more than 1,100 local residents and foreign citizens will be involved in seasonal work, and after the plant is put into operation, more than 1,000 new jobs will be created for citizens.

The foundation of this enterprise is also planned near the nearby deposits of limestone, magnetite and Kharangon soil, and the construction, import of machinery, technology, equipment and other necessary supplies will be carried out entirely with the involvement of domestic capital.

All production equipment and machinery are modern, and environmental regulations and environmental safety are ensured in the production process.

The investor and builder of the second enterprise is the Tajik Cement Limited Liability Company.

It should be noted that both cement plants were built in accordance with modern environmental requirements and do not have a negative impact on the environment.

After familiarizing themselves with the projects and launching construction work on two large cement production plants, the Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to domestic entrepreneurs for their support for the constructive policy of the Government of the country, and guided them to perform high-quality work.
