League City Recognized as Music Friendly Certified Community
Join us for a "Celebration at League Park" on Saturday, April 26, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The family-friendly event includes a free concert as well as food and drinks for sale from food trucks, Galveston Bay Brewing, and Soulfreak Railroad Café.
The evening will recognize several honors and milestones, including League City becoming a Music Friendly Texas Certified Community by the Texas Music Office. The TMO will present the City with its official certification during the concert.
In addition, the League City Folk Association will be celebrating the third anniversary of the group's monthly "Music In the Historic District" concert series.
League Park will also be officially recognized as a Lone Star Legacy Park. This award-presented by the Texas Recreation and Parks Society-honors parks that have stood the test of time and hold a special place in the history of their communities.
Performances that evening will include members of the League City Folk Association and students from the RockNClassics Music School and the Attuned School of Music.
