The City of Cape Coral, in partnership with Senior Friendship Centers, is expanding its popular Friendship Dining program by adding a new location at the South Cape Community Center, located inside the Faith Presbyterian Church complex at 4544 Coronado Parkway.
Starting November 12, 2024, seniors aged 60 or older can enjoy meals and activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Friendship Dining, which is already offered at the Lake Kennedy Center, provides nutritious meals and engaging activities that foster social connection.
With food insecurity and isolation affecting many seniors, this second location aims to support the physical and mental well-being of older adults in the Cape Coral community. Seniors can enjoy meals and activities like art, games, and social interaction.
Beginning November 12, interested individuals can sign up at the South Cape Community Center or contact Senior Friendship Centers at (941) 555-1234 for more information.
