Bennet Announces $141 Million for Colorado Projects in Senate Appropriations Bills

Feb 5, 2026| Press Releases

Washington, D.C. - Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet announced that he secured over $141 million for 110 projects through congressionally directed spending (CDS) in the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) appropriations bills passed by Congress. Since the CDS process was officially reinstated in 2022, Bennet has secured nearly $500 million for the state of Colorado.

"This year, I have helped secure $141 million in CDS funding for 110 Colorado projects. From expanding childcare access to wildfire prevention to rural small business support, these projects will help Coloradans meet the needs of their communities," said Bennet. "I am glad we were able to secure funding for these projects that will benefit the entire state."
