GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. In accordance with reference (a), after
thorough deliberation by a board of colonels throughout Marine
Forces Reserve with concurrence of the Commander Marine Forces
Reserve and the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Major Brian T.
Carney is the recipient of the Calendar Year (CY) 2025 Colonel
Justice Marion "Jumping Joe" Chambers Award for Outstanding
Leadership. Major Carney is assigned to 2d Battalion, 25th
Marines.
2. Major Caney's exemplary record demonstrated noteworthy
leadership and ability, and his performance during 2025
reflects great credit upon the Reserve Component and the United
States Marine Corps.

regarding the presentation of the award will be forwarded
