The Second Japan-China Business Environment Facilitation Working Group Held

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and China's Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) held the second Japan-China Business Environment Facilitation Working Group in Tokyo, Japan.

METI and China's Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) held the second Japan-China Business Environment Facilitation Working Group, with Mr. Tanaka Kazushige, Deputy Director-General for Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Mr. Wang Liping, Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs, MOFCOM, serving as co-chairs. Economic organizations from both countries also attended.
They discussed matters concerning the improvement of the bilateral business environment. The two nations will continue to coordinate closely to realize an improved business environment.

The establishment of the Japan-China Business Environment Facilitation Working Group was agreed upon during the meeting between Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, then-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao held in November 2023.
