Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisors to the Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, as to US federal securities laws and English law, in connection with the MYR 652 million initial public offering ("IPO") and listing of MTT Shipping and Logistics Berhad ("MTTSL") on the Main Market of Bursa Securities Berhad. The company's shares commenced trading today.
The listing of MTTSL represents the largest IPO for Bursa Securities Berhad's transportation & logistics sector since 2013.
CIMB Investment Bank Berhad is the principal adviser and, together with CLSA Limited and CLSA Securities Malaysia Sdn, the Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners. Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad also acts as a Joint Bookrunner in this international IPO, which included an offering to retail investors in Malaysia and institutional investors internationally in reliance on Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933.
