City to Host East Gate City Boulevard Corridor Study Open House on February 11

The City of Greensboro Department of Transportation will host an open house for the East Gate City Boulevard Corridor Study from 4-6 pm, Wednesday, February 11, in the Yvonne J. Johnson Event Center at Barber Park, 1502 Barber Park Dr., to share potential improvements along the East Gate City Boulevard corridor. Residents may drop in at any time.

The open house will provide community members an opportunity to learn more about the study, review proposed concepts, and share feedback with City staff. The study is evaluating current conditions along East Gate City Boulevard and exploring options to improve safety, enhance public transit, and create more walkable and bike-friendly streets along the corridor.

Community feedback will help guide next steps as the project moves forward. Additional information about the study, along with a public survey, is available at Greensboro-nc.gov/EastGateCityCorridor
