Wakild presents at environmental conference in Mexico

Emily Wakild, the Cecil D. Andrus Endowed Chair for the Environment and Public Lands, presented on the closing panel at a conference held at the largest and oldest university in Mexico, la Universidad Autonoma Nacional de Mexico in April 2025. The conference, "Forests and Cities in Mexico," was hosted by the Institute of Social Investigations. Wakild presented alongside Sergio Graf, director of Mexico's forest service and Leticia Merino, a distinguished professor from the conference's host university.
