Cary, NC - Election Day for Cary's Districts A, C, and one At-Large seat is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters in these districts will choose Councilmembers who will serve on Cary's governing board for the next four years.
On Election Day, voters must cast their ballot at their assigned polling place. Voter resources, including a polling place search tool, are available on the State Board of Elections website. The site also provides county-specific information for Wake County and Chatham County, which manage Cary's elections.
North Carolina voters are required to show photo identification when checking in to vote. For full details on acceptable forms of ID, visit ncsbe.gov/voter-ID.
If a voter does not have an acceptable photo ID, they can still vote by completing an ID Exemption Form. Every eligible voter will be able to cast a ballot - with or without a photo ID.
Before heading to the polls for tomorrow's November 4 election, learn more about the candidates through the Cary Community Candidate Forum. On election night, results will be broadcast on Cary TV, Cary's official government access channel, available on Spectrum Channel 11 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99.
