Maternal and neonatal health package

The technical packages for maternal and neonatal health were developed based on the lists of priority medical devices. These documents, prepared by WHO and PAHO, are constructed using a methodology that identifies recommended clinical interventions in evidence-based guidelines and selects the necessary devices to implement them. They are standardized to ensure the continuous and timely availability of essential technologies for safe, effective, evidence-based maternal and neonatal care, aimed at preventing and managing the main causes of morbidity and mortality.
