PLA Hong Kong Garrison Organizes Barracks Open Day Activities

HONG KONG, China, June 29 -- The Shek Kong and San Wai barracks of the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison were open to the public on June 27 and 28. The open day event featured exhibitions of the Chinese PLA Army and Air Force equipment and newly-added interactive military cultural experiences, allowing Hong Kong citizens to gain a more intuitive understanding of the garrison's development, as well as its routine training and duties.

Since being stationed in Hong Kong, the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison has held barracks open day activities for 36 times, receiving over 980,000 local visitors. These activities have become an important bridge for enhancing the bonds between the military and the people and fostering patriotic feelings.
