Parthasarathy brings extensive technology leadership experience across insurance and financial services
Erie Insurance (ERIE) has appointed Raghu Parthasarathy senior vice president, Information Technology. Parthasarathy will oversee Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations, including cloud and on-premises infrastructure, data center operations, digital workplace services and IT Client Services.
Parthasarathy succeeds Andy Abramczyk, who announced in June that he will retire Dec. 31, 2026, after 40 years with ERIE.
"Technology is foundational to how we serve our employees, agents and customers and operate as a company," said Partha Srinivasa, chief information officer and executive vice president, enterprise services at ERIE. "Raghu brings significant experience leading infrastructure modernization and strengthening the technology environments that support complex organizations. That experience, combined with his collaborative leadership approach, aligns well with ERIE's current technology priorities."
Prior to joining Erie Insurance, Parthasarathy served as vice president and head of Cloud, Infrastructure and Shared Platforms at The Hartford and held technology leadership roles at S&P Global and BNY Mellon.
Parthasarathy earned a master's degree in business administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
