Combat plastic pollution and protect our planet, one clean-up at a time

Teams from various divisions at Grindrod came together to make a positive impact.

The Grindrod Multi-Purpose Terminals (GMPT) team in Durban proudly participated in a clean-up event organised by Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA). They collaborated with teams from TNPA, SPUR, Durban Solid Waste, the Green Youth Network, and students from Marian Ridge Secondary School. Together, they cleaned up the Wilson Wharf area next to the Maritime Museum.

This event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, enjoy the great outdoors, and make a tangible difference in our environment. A special thank you to Durban Solid Waste for their assistance in collecting the waste we gathered!

Let's continue to combat plastic pollution and protect our planet, one clean-up at a time. Together, we can make a difference! #WorldEnvironmentDay #CommunityCleanup #BeatPlasticPollution #TogetherForNature
