Winter Market Vendor Applications


Join us for our Winter Market! Stroll through CenterPlace and the West Lawn Plaza and visit local vendor booths to find the perfect holiday gift this season! This event is free and will include: indoor and outdoor vendor booths, holiday music, holiday beverages, and more!

Vendor Information:

  • Vendor Fee: $50
  • Special booth space may be available upon request for an additional fee.
  • Vendor cut-off: December 1 or when all spots are filled
  • Vendor application review begins Thursday, October 30 and will continue every Thursday until full.

Vendor Approval Process: Vendor space is limited. City staff assigned to the market will review all vendor applications to ensure a well-rounded and high-quality market experience. The City is accepting applications from a variety of craft/artisan vendors, local small businesses, and food providers, that positively contribute to the environment of the Winter Market. The Winter Market is meant to create a fun-filled holiday season inspired environment for all to enjoy, and shop for good food, and crafts. Complete Applications from vendors shall be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Complete Application
  • Quality of products
  • Uniqueness of products
  • Presentation (display plan)
  • How the vendor contributes to the environment of the Winter Market

In addition to this criteria, Vendors shall provide copies of any and all applicable permits and licenses, including cottage food permits, mobile food unit permits, food worker cards, business licenses, etc. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis each week on Thursday until spaces are filled. All applicants will be notified of their status via email once the review process is complete. The City reserves the right to reject any and all applications based on the criteria listed above. Approved vendors will receive confirmation materials with setup details, event expectations, and any additional requirements ("Approval Documents").

Upon acceptance of a Vendor by the City, these Rules and Guidelines for Vendors, the Vendor's submitted Application, and any Approval Documents sent to the Vendor, shall together form the complete written agreement between the City and the Vendor (the "Agreement"). Any inconsistency in the parts of the Agreement shall be resolved in the following order of precedence (e.g., 1 presiding over 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6; 2 presiding over 3, 4, 5, and 6; and so forth):

  1. Local, state, and federal rules, laws, and regulations
  2. Rules and Guidelines for Vendors
  3. Vendor's Application
  4. Approval Documents

Insurance:

  • Food Vendors: Vendors selling food shall obtain insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damage to property which may arise from or in connection with the performance of the Vendor's activities at the Winters Market. Please view the insurance types and amounts in the Winter Market Rules and Application Document (PDF).
  • Other vendors: Vendors not selling food shall obtain insurance of the type and amount typical for businesses of its size that covers the Vendor for its activities at the Winter Market. This includes, at the very least, general liability insurance.
