Arkansas Democrats Release Statement Following the Murder of Charlie Kirk in Utah

LITTLE ROCK- Democratic Party of Arkansas Chair Colonel Marcus Jones (Ret.) released the following statement on the horrific violence that killed Charlie Kirk in Utah.

Arkansas Democrats Chair and Col. Marcus Jones (Ret.) said:

"Political violence is reprehensible and wrong. Every American should be able to state their opinion- no matter what that opinion is- without facing violence.

I served in our nation's military for three decades to protect the ability of every single individual in this country to use their first amendment rights. Even and especially when we disagree with someone, we must all defend their right to use their voice.

Our hearts break for Charlie Kirk's wife and kids. Arkansas Democrats are praying for his family. We hope that the person who committed this horrible act of violence is brought to justice as quickly as possible."
