Students Celebrated at the NAJ's JET Graduates Awards

19 Jun 2026

The latest cohort of JET graduates gathered at the newly refurbished Goldsmiths' Hall on 15 June for this year's sold-out JET Graduation Awards, celebrating their achievements alongside friends, family, colleagues and invited guests from across the jewellery industry.

The ceremony recognised students who successfully completed the National Association of Jewellers' highly regarded JET training programmes, including JET Management & Leadership and the Foundations of Appraisal Practice for aspiring jewellery valuers. Graduates were presented with their certificates and diplomas, marking a significant milestone in their professional development.

A number of outstanding achievements were also honoured on the day. The JET Stars Awards, sponsored by The Jewellery Show, recognised the best JET1 projects, highlighting the creativity, knowledge and application demonstrated by students.

The prestigious Greenough Trophy, awarded to the student achieving the highest aggregate marks and producing the most outstanding project within the Professional Jewellers' Diploma programme, was presented to Kian Brown of Osbornes Jewellers. The accolade represents the highest level of recognition within the programme, reflecting exceptional skill, dedication and academic excellence.

Lydia Micallef was also recognised for academic distinction, receiving the Roy Huddlestone Trophy as the highest-achieving student on the Foundations of Appraisal Practice course.

Members of the NAJ National Committee, staff and course tutors were present to celebrate the graduates' success. Attendees also heard an inspiring address from Harriet France, director of Jeremy France Jewellers, who reflected on the importance of continued professional development and commitment to excellence within the trade.

Ben Massey, Chief Executive of the National Association of Jewellers, said,

"JET Graduation Awards are always a highlight in the NAJ calendar, a wonderful celebration for graduates and their guests, and a genuinely proud occasion for everyone involved. We warmly congratulate each graduate for their dedication, commitment and academic achievement, and look forward to supporting them as they continue their journey within the jewellery industry.

"Jewellery Education & Training plays a vital role in equipping individuals with the foundational knowledge needed to build confidence in sales, enhance the customer experience, and support businesses in attracting, developing and retaining talented people across our trade."
