Marla Dorrel Park Closure
As part of Cary's Summer 2026 Capital Improvement Projects, Marla Dorrel Park's Kids Together Playground will undergo facility and park upgrades this summer. Work will take place in two phases. Phase One, June 22-26, includes adding ADA-accessible parking spaces, repairing sidewalks, and improving drainage. During this phase, the skate pad, basketball area, and select parking spaces will be closed.
Phase Two, July 20-August 7, involves repaving the entire facility. During this phase, the park will be closed to the public. Click here for more information about the park and project updates.
