Income Tax Advisory workgroup to hold first meeting Aug. 24
Meetings will be streamed on TVW
OLYMPIA, Wash. - Aug. 17, 2026 -- The Department of Revenue (Revenue) will be hosting the first Income Tax Advisory workgroup meeting next week. Created under ESSB 6346 Section 712, the workgroup is tasked with assisting Revenue in forming recommendations to address technical and equity issues that may arise during implementation and administration.
Meetings will take place monthly, pausing for the legislative session, and be streamed on TVW. The work group will prepare two required reports: a preliminary report in December 2026 and a final report in December 2027.
