REMINDER: 5-Day Requirement for Proposal Submissions

With the implementation of DASH, the Office of Research reminds researchers and business managers about the requirement that proposals must be fully routed, finalized, and approved in Cayuse at least five business days before the sponsor's submission deadline.

The UT Health Science Center has an institutional responsibility to verify the accuracy, validity, conformity, and eligibility of all applications submitted to sponsors. Having proposals fully routed with finalized documents and approved in Cayuse, within 5-business days before the sponsor's submission date ensures the OSP has sufficient time to review and certify proposals, meeting both sponsor and institutional policy requirements.

Proposals that do not adhere to the deadline requirements will not be submitted except under extenuating circumstances.
