The DQ Brand Sweetens Its Legendary Chicken Strip Basket with the Addition of Decadent Belgian Waffles
MINNEAPOLIS - The DQ® brand is giving its popular chicken strips a sweet new BFF with the launch of a NEW crave-worthy Chicken & Waffles Basket. Featuring savory and juicy all white meat chicken strips, sweet, authentic Belgian waffles, crispy fries and rich syrup, the basket is available all-day at participating DQ and DQ Grill & Chill® locations nationwide for a limited time beginning April 1.
"We're thrilled to offer the best of both worlds with our delicious take on a classic," said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). "Fans love our chicken strip basket, and now they can really indulge with the addition of decadent Belgian waffles."
Perfect Pairs Promotion
To celebrate the launch of the new Chicken & Waffles Basket, a perfect pair from the DQ Kitchen, duos can now use Yelp to make a reservation for the ultimate DQ Date at 10 select DQ and DQ Grill & Chill locations across the U.S. One table in each restaurant will be adorned with vibrant décor, special place settings, fun interactive elements and a designated DQ crew member to serve the table. Reservations are available via Yelp for the following times:
● 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 12
● Noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14
"We pride ourselves in being a place fans visit when they want to celebrate happy," said Hokanson. "The DQ Date Tables will offer a new way for people to enjoy our stores, as well as our new sweet and savory eats, whether it's with a significant other, friend, child, coworker or anyone you consider to be your 'perfect pair.'"
To make a reservation at one of the 10 DQ Grill & Chill locations, fans can visit the participating restaurant's Yelp page in the following cities:

The reservation is free to make and does not include the cost of Chicken & Waffles Baskets or additional food, treats or beverages ordered at the restaurant. Fans are encouraged to try the new Chicken & Waffles Basket and share their DQ Date on social media using @DairyQueen and #DQDate.
