Presentation of the Agrologistics Center project in Jaloliddini Balkhi district

On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, continuing his working visit to Khatlon Province, arrived in Jaloliddini Balkhi district from Jaihun district.

The working visit of the Head of State to Jaloliddini Balkhi district began with an acquaintance with the project to build an Agrologistics Center.

The center will operate in the areas of collection, storage, processing, sizing, packaging, and export of various types of agricultural products.

The Agrologistics Center consists of a main building, modern warehouses and cold stores, a canteen with 48 seats, and other auxiliary facilities.

It was reported that construction work on this facility began in June of this year, and its full completion is planned by November 2026.

During the presentation of the draft design of the Agrologistics Center, the Head of State was informed that three modern sizing and packaging lines will be activated in the center.

After the Agrologistics Center is put into operation, 67 people will be employed, of which 40 will be seasonal workers.

It was emphasized that the construction of such a center will primarily contribute to improving the supply chain of agricultural products, reducing losses, increasing the efficiency of agribusiness activities, and boosting the export of agricultural products and raw materials.

During a conversation with officials and builders, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions and tasks to complete construction work within the specified time limits and with high quality, as well as to transform this facility into a modern center for collecting, storing, processing, packaging, and exporting agricultural products.
