Ernst Names Small Business of the Week, Cobblestone Ballroom & Event Center

RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Cobblestone Ballroom & Event Center of Buena Vista County. Throughout the 119th Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties.

"Cobblestone has succeeded in bringing people together with their delicious food, live events, and beautiful venues,"said Chair Ernst. "Through hard work and dedication, the Schumanns and Hustedts have restored a historic space for the Buena Vista County community to come together and create joyful memories."

Founded in 1929 in Storm Lake, Iowa, Cobblestone has long served as a cornerstone for community gatherings and celebrations. Today, under the ownership of Natalie and Nathan Schumann and Jennifer and Chad Hustedt, the ballroom proudly carries on its traditions of hosting live music, trivia nights, weddings, and other special events. After purchasing the historic building in 2022, the owners invested in extensive renovations to preserve its character while preparing it for future generations, ensuring Cobblestone continues to play an important role as a welcoming gathering place for the Buena Vista community.
