Howard Swig Promoted to President of Bring a Trailer

NEW YORK, July 8, 2026 - Howard Swig has been promoted to President of Bring a Trailer, Co-Founder Randy Nonnenberg announced today. Nonnenberg will become Executive Chairman and continue to help shape the company's strategy, product and future growth.

Swig joined Bring a Trailer in 2014 as Head of Auctions. He has overseen the company's auction operations through a period of significant growth, helping shape the marketplace experience for buyers and sellers while preserving the standards and authenticity that define the platform. During his tenure, he has personally reviewed tens of thousands of vehicle submissions and played a key role in scaling the business.

"Building Bring a Trailer into a thriving community for car enthusiasts continues to be one of the great privileges of my life," Nonnenberg said. "Howard is a key part of that journey, and his deep knowledge of the market, commitment to our values and appreciation for our community make him the ideal person to lead Bring a Trailer into its next chapter. I'm excited to see him take on this expanded role as we continue finding new ways to grow, innovate and serve our community."

Co-founded by Nonnenberg in 2007, Bring a Trailer is the leading digital auction platform and enthusiast community for classic, collector and enthusiast vehicles.

"I'm honored by the opportunity to build on the strong foundation Randy has created," Swig said. "His vision and leadership create a trusted home for automotive enthusiasts, and I look forward to working with him, our team and our community as we continue to grow and evolve the platform."

Before joining Bring a Trailer in 2014, Swig held positions at Cartelligent and Hearst's Car and Driver. His experience across the automotive industry and deep understanding of the enthusiast community have helped shape Bring a Trailer's evolution into the leading marketplace for collector and enthusiast vehicles.

Swig begins his new role on July 24.
