Project Advisory: Slide Repair Work to Begin on State Route 1 in Montara

San Mateo County - On the week of September 28, Caltrans will begin a slope repair project on northbound State Route 1 in Montara, between 11th and 13th Streets. Work will include erosion repairs and the installation of slope protection in affected areas.
To facilitate construction, one-way traffic control will be in effect:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
To help minimize traffic impacts, temporary railing will be installed near 11th Street. Traffic conditions will be monitored throughout the project duration, and traffic-control measures may be adjusted as needed.
The project is expected to be completed by November. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
