Congressman Shri Thanedar to Introduce Articles of Impeachment Against Attorney General Pam Bondi

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Shri Thanedar announced that he would be introducing articles of impeachment against Attorney General Pam Bondi for the following offenses:

  1. Engaging in a conspiracy to cover up the Epstein files and a child trafficking ring.

  2. Disregarding a law passed by Congress ordering the full release of the Epstein files.

  3. Abusing her power to extort voter registration rolls and other sensitive data from Minnesota, amid heightened tensions with ICE.

  4. Weaponizing the Department of Justice to go after President Trump's political opponents.

"The Department of Justice's role is to uphold the rule of law impartially and protect the American people, but time and time again, Attorney General Pam Bondi has placed her loyalty to President Trump over her constitutional duty," said Congressman Thanedar.

"From illegally withholding the Epstein files past the required deadline, to trying to coerce Minnesota into turning over its state voter files, to weaponizing the Department of Justice against Donald Trump's political opponents, she has disgraced the office she holds. Congress must use every tool of accountability to uphold our oath to defend the Constitution."

Congressman Shri Thanedar proudly represents Michigan's 13th Congressional District, which includes Detroit, Downriver, and the Grosse Pointes.
