Traffic Alert: Monroe Avenue between Front and Second Lane closures begin Monday, July 27

MLGW is in the third phase of its streetlight painting project along Front Street between Beale Street and Union Avenue.

Beginning on Monday, July 27, crews will begin painting streetlights on Monroe Avenue between Front Street and Second Street.

To safely complete the work, portions of the roadway adjacent to the streetlights may be temporarily closed to accommodate painting equipment. Street parking in the work zone also may be affected.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted traffic signage and allow additional travel time while crews are working.
