Chinese Embassy in Indonesia Holds Reception Celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of The People’s Republic of China

On the evening of 24 September, H.E. Wang Lutong, the Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia held a reception celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Representative of the Indonesian Government H.E. Agus Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara, Minister of Transmigration, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Special Advisor to the President for Energy, Abdul Mu'ti, Minister of Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and about 800 friends from Indonesian Government, parliament, political parties, think tanks, religious organizations, foreign diplomatic missions in Indonesia and representatives of Chinese companies, Chinese communities in Indonesia were present at the event.

In his remarks, Ambassador Wang Lutong said that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at its core, China is now on a new journey of advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese modernization. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, China is ready to deepen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and build an even closer China-Indonesia community with a shared future. 

On behalf of the Indonesian Government, Coordinating Minister Agus expressed warm congratulations on the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and said that Indonesia is ready to work with China to further deepen mutual trust, foster common development opportunities, and bring about more benefits to the two peoples of generations to come.

The guests also visited an exhibition showcasing the achievements of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. The reception was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
