Suspect Surrenders On Warrant Related To Sunday's Domestic-Related Stabbing
A stabbing suspect surrendered Tuesday following a domestic-related incident with her 25-year-old boyfriend Sunday night on 12th Avenue South in the Edgehill community. Yavonda Cowan, 28, had an outstanding aggravated assault after she was seen punching her boyfriend before stabbing him once in the chest then running off.
The 25-year-old was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
Cowan remains jailed today on $60,000 bond.
