PALMDALE, CA - Spring is in the air, and the City of Palmdale is ready to celebrate the season with its annual Children's Springfest & Egg Hunt on Sat., April 12, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Palmdale Amphitheater, 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. This free event is the perfect way for families to hop into fun with an egg-stra special lineup of activities for kids ages 2-12.
"We're excited to bring this beloved event back for another year of fun," said Mayor Richard J. Loa. "The Children's Springfest & Egg Hunt is a great way for families to enjoy a day full of laughter, excitement and community spirit!"
Young explorers can crack the case in an exciting egg hunt, hop aboard the Blossom Express and test their skills at egg-citing carnival games. Creativity will be in full bloom at craft stations, while face painting and balloon twisting add a little extra spring to their step. Families can enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks and capture a picture-perfect moment with the friendly Springfest Bunny and Duck.
"Springfest is all about making memories that families will treasure forever," said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. "We can't wait to see everyone hop on over for a day packed with adventure, creativity and sweet surprises!"
