The City of Simi Valley invites residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend a public meeting on the City's Proposed Budget and Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Community Room at City Hall, located at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.
City staff will provide a brief presentation outlining key elements of the proposed budget, followed by an opportunity for attendees to offer input and ask questions. Public feedback from the meeting will be documented and shared with the City Council to help inform its final budget decisions.
This meeting is part of the City Council's ongoing commitment to transparency and community involvement in the budget development process. The City Council is scheduled to consider adoption of the FY 2025-26 Budget at its regular meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Beginning Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Proposed Budget and Capital Improvement Program will be available for review on the City's website at www.simivalley.org, at City Hall, and at the Simi Valley Public Library (2969 Tapo Canyon Road). Printed copies will also be available for purchase at City Hall.
