Dunbar Cave Road area wide water outage and lane closure planned for water valve replacement
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned water valve replacement work on Wednesday, July 23 at 8 a.m. and will turn off water service on Dunbar Cave Road. The following streets and roads will be affected.
- Dunbar Cave Road (Acuff Road to Kimberly Drive)
- Wingate Subdivision
- Acuff Road
Low water pressure possible for the vicinity during the work.
The eastbound lane on Dunbar Cave Road will be closed from Idlewood Drive to Kimberly Drive. Traffic will be detoured to Idlewood Drive and Kimberly Drive to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when traveling through the work zone.
The water valve replacement work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 3:30 p.m.
