Upcoming CERT Trainings

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first CERT refresher training on Wednesday, January 15. CERT participants refreshed critical life-saving medical skills, including treating airway obstruction, severe bleeding, and shock, reviewed basic first aid for common injuries, and deepened their understanding of triage principles in mass casualty situations.

A special thank you to CERT volunteers, Ana and Ruth, who came early to the class to help guide CERTs to the classroom and assist with room set up. We appreciate the friendly smiles you bring to our program!

The next CERT refresher training is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10:00-11:30 AM at Terra Linda Community Center. The session will cover Disaster Medical Operations - Part 2, which will build on previous training and cover disaster medical skills such as comprehensive head-to-toe injury assessments and treatment for burns, bites, stings, and nosebleeds.
