CCPD to Hold Annual Military Equipment Use Report Meeting

The Cathedral City Police Department will hold its annual Military Equipment Use Report meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. As required by California law, this meeting is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.

Please note the venue change: The meeting will be held in the Community Development Conference Room, located on the 1st Floor of City Hall, 68700 Ave Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.

During this meeting, the department will present its annual report on the inventory, use, and acquisition of equipment classified as "military equipment" under California Assembly Bill 481. This transparency initiative provides community members with information about specialized equipment utilized by the department and how it has been deployed over the past year.

This community engagement meeting provides an opportunity for the public to discuss and ask questions regarding the annual military equipment report and the department's funding, acquisition, or use of military equipment.
