At the UBS Global Technology and AI Investor Conference, C.H. Robinson joined more than 300 global technology companies and 1,500 investors, analysts, and industry leaders to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) is creating meaningful value across global businesses.
President and Chief Executive Officer Dave Bozeman, Chief Financial Officer Damon Lee, and Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer Arun Rajan sat down with UBS Software Analyst Seth Gilbert to discuss the company's disciplined operational and strategic transformation, outcome-driven applications of AI across the enterprise, and how these initiatives are redefining the company's role in global logistics.
Lean AI transformation driving measurable results: Leaders shared how pairing the company's Lean operating model with a rapidly advancing AI tech stack has strengthened its position as a technology-forward logistics leader. The approach has delivered more than 40% productivity improvement since 2022, enhanced customer-service speed and reliability, and enabled teams to focus on higher-value work-improving both customer experience and financial performance.
Fleet of 30+ AI agents powering the platform: Executives highlighted the company's growing fleet of proprietary AI agents that form the backbone of the company's Always-On Logistics Planner, the first-of-its-kind premium service experience. These AI agents relay price quotes, process orders, acquire trucking capacity, set appointments for pickup and delivery, check on loads in transit, supply tracking updates and fetch necessary documents like proof of delivery. By automating more than 3 million shipping tasks, they are creating smarter, faster, better supply chains.
A competitive advantage that compounds: The discussion underscored why the company's AI momentum is sustainable and difficult for competitors to replicate. C.H. Robinson's Lean operating model drives continuous improvement and, together with custom-built AI agents, creates a unique Lean AI approach to innovation. The company maintains its advantage through deep domain expertise, industry-leading data, more than 450 in-house engineers and data scientists, as well as the best logisticians. This enables the company to build and deploy AI faster, more effectively, and with higher ROI. Leaders noted that while many in the industry are experimenting with AI, C.H. Robinson's Lean AI is already delivering real results at scale-including seven consecutive quarters of financial outperformance.
Leaders closed the session by noting that C.H. Robinson is still in the early innings of its AI journey, with significant opportunities to expand automation, enhance global capabilities, and unlock new waves of productivity. As the company scales its agentic AI ecosystem across its global network, it expects to further advance its position as a technology-forward logistics leader-driving stronger customer outcomes, greater operating leverage, and continued financial outperformance.
