Financial Literacy and Credit Workshops Coming to Unity Square

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (April 13, 2026) - OceanFirst Bank, Catholic Charities, the Diocese of Metuchen, and Unity Square are partnering to host a "Credit 101" financial literacy workshop on April 16. Taking place at 1:30 p.m. at the Unity Square Community Center, 81 Remsen Ave., the session focuses on teaching participants how to build, maintain, and understand their credit.

Pizza and beverages will be provided for all attendees.

Additionally, April 16 serves as the RSVP deadline for the following week's financial health workshop. Chase Bank representatives will visit Unity Square on April 23, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to lead a "Healthy Credit Check-In" session. This workshop will cover credit score awareness and management strategies for those preparing for major purchases.
