State Route 84 Resurfacing Project Begins September 14

Work begins September 14 between La Honda and Woodside in San Mateo County
San Mateo County - On Monday, September 14, Caltrans will begin a resurfacing project on State Route 84 between the community of La Honda and the town of Woodside in San Mateo County. The project is expected to continue through Winter 2026.
During construction, crews will grind, pave, and restripe the roadway to extend the life of the pavement and improve roadway safety for all travelers.
Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations throughout the project corridor. Drivers are urged to slow down, use caution, and follow posted signs and traffic-control measures when traveling through the cone zone.
Additional information and work schedules will be shared with the public in advance of upcoming construction activities.
